Joe, a lifelong resident of Atlanta, is Executive Vice President at Wachovia Insurance Specialties, Inc.  He received the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) in 1983 and serves on the Executive Committee of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.  In addition, he served as Chairman of Brigatine Reinsurance Limited and on the board of Mountain View Indemnity, both Bermuda-based captive insurers.

 

Joe graduated from The Westminster Schools and The University of Georgia, where he majored in Insurance and Risk Management.  He previously served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Whitefield Academy and is currently a member of the Honorary Board of Georgia Special Olympics.  He is married and has four daughters who all attend Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, where he currently serves on the Vestry.
