Tracy Vardeman

Vice President of Strategic Planning and Marketing,

Northeast Georgia Health System

 

Tracy is Vice President of Strategic Planning and Marketing with Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Health System, a regional healthcare system serving a population base of over a half-million people across 13 counties of northeast Georgia.  A marketing strategist with over 20 years in the healthcare field, Ms. Vardeman is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and marketing efforts for the Health System in conjunction with the organization’s operating boards and senior leadership. She was instrumental in the Medical Center’s state approval to provide open-heart services to the northeast Georgia area. Ms. Vardeman is heavily involved in the development of the Medical Center’s facility planning initiatives, including redevelopment of the main campus and the proposed South Hall hospital location.

 

Ms. Vardeman is a summa cum laude graduate of Shorter College with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing and Management.  She holds an MBA degree from Georgia State University with a study emphasis in health administration.

 

Ms. Vardeman is a native of Trion, Georgia, and has resided in Gainesville for more than 20 years.  She and her husband, John, have two children.  They are members of the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville.
