Admissions Process

Eagle Ranch is not an emergency or short-term shelter facility. The admissions process typically takes four weeks, and application must be made by the child's legal guardian.

To get started, you may call the Ranch office at 770.967.8500 and request an application packet, or download forms directly by clicking here.

Applicants may also visit the Eagle Ranch administration office to request an application. For directions to the Ranch, go to the "Contact Us" tab above or click here.

Next steps

Step 1: Complete the Paperwork. Prior to the first interview, the child’s legal guardian must submit a completed application and Admissions Process/Documents Required form.

Step 2: Eagle Ranch Intake Counselor Contacts You. Once all of your paperwork is received in our office and reviewed, you will be contacted by our Intake Counselor.

Step 3: The Initial Family Interview. If our program seems appropriate for your family’s needs, our Intake Counselor will set an appointment for an interview with your family.

Step 4: A Series of Interviews. After the initial interview with our Intake Counselor, to determine possible admission, you will be asked to attend a series of interviews with other treatment team staff. These interviews further identify your family’s particular needs and fit with our program.

Step 5: Acceptance or Referral. If accepted into the Eagle Ranch program, additional documentation will be needed for admission, and your date of admission will be determined. If the Eagle Ranch program is determined not to be the best option for your family at any time in the process, we will provide a list of referrals upon request.
