Event Day FAQs

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

Our campus will open at 7:30 a.m. for participants and those wishing to sign up on race day. Upon your arrival, follow the signs to our parking area at The Wings Center (5480 Union Church Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). Our amazing parking team will be there to help you find a spot.
For those participating in the races, the start line is a short walk from parking, but if you or your guests would like assistance, we'll have a shuttle that can take you there. Shuttles will be running to and from the parking area throughout the morning. We expect over 2,000 guests on campus, so please plan accordingly as we recommend arriving at least 40 minutes prior to your event start time.
How can I return to parking?
- Shuttles will be running continuously throughout the event to take guests to and from the parking lot today.
- You are welcome to follow the directional signs and walk back to parking if you prefer.

5K RACE

When can I check in for the race?
- You can check in to your Run the Ranch Race on June 13th, 3:30pm-6:30pm, at the Eagle Ranch Admin Office to collect your packet. Early check-in lets you hit the ground running the next morning! Otherwise, you can check in the morning of the race, starting at 7:30am.
Where can I get my race bag and t-shirt?
- Race bags will be available for pickup at Registration and Check-in, prior to the race. Your race t-shirt will be in the bag.
Is there a restroom open on the course?
- Yes, our pool house restrooms will be open for your convenience during the 5K race.
Will there be any water stations on the course?
- Yes, there are two water stations along the course and plenty of water at the main event area available before and after the race.
Can I bring my stroller on the course?
- Yes, but please know that the course is hilly and has rough terrain throughout. The Nature walk course has a mixture of dirt, pavement, and gravel. If the terrain is not a concern, we kindly ask that you stay on the right side of the course throughout the race.

OUR FUN RUN HAS CHANGED!

Children will be split into two age groups: Big Kids, 8+ and Younger Kids, 7 and younger. This will ensure the safety of kids on the race course for the Fun Run.
The Fun Run route has been updated. Children will run on one strip instead of a circle. (Please refer to the map on our website to see the route).
Adults, you are able to run with your littles! If you wish to be with your child, we ask for one parent, guardian, or sibling run with the child on the course.

CHECK-IN & REGISTRATION

After you park, follow the directions from our friendly volunteers to the check-in table. For the race, you'll receive your race number and required wristband(s) for entry to the Family Fest party. If you are just attending Family Fest, you’ll receive your wristband(s) and additional vouchers (when available) at the check-in table.

CONVENIENCE

I forgot sunscreen - do you have any?
- YES! We have sunscreen, bug spray, baby wipes, bandaids, and other basic first aid and convenience items available at the Info & First Aid tent.
Will I need to bring any towels?
- We recommend bringing towels for our Chill Zones! While not a water park or deep water, there will be water table-top and grass activities for younger children to enjoy.
Is there somewhere I can take my baby for a diaper change or a private area I can nurse my baby?
- Yes, we have a designated quiet area just for you. Please help yourself to our Nurture Nook in the Wellness Center.
Are pets allowed?
- No, we kindly ask that your pets stay at home for this event.
Am I allowed to bring guests with me?
- Absolutely! When they arrive with you and they were previously not on your registration, we will have QR codes for them to register for their free entry.
Is smoking allowed on campus?
- No, we are a smoke-free campus.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

The weather looks beautiful for Saturday. Please dress for warm weather and stay hydrated! While the forecast isn't calling for rain, the event will take place rain or shine, so be prepared with sunscreen or rain gear!
In the event of lightning or other dangerous conditions, we will cancel the event and make a decision no later than 6 a.m. Saturday. We will notify you via email, our social media pages, and our website, www.eagleranch.org.

Do you have an accessible restroom?
- Yes, the restroom at the Wellness Center is accessible.

FOOD & DRINKS

Free Drinks
- Free water and sports drinks can be found around the Family Fest area. Help yourself and stay hydrated!
Free Food
- Free carnival snacks are available at the Fun Foods tent.
Additional Options
- Chill Latte will open at 7:30am with specialty coffee and smoothies for purchase.
- Additional food items can be purchased from our food vendors.
