Marketing Project Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy

Eagle Ranch is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization located in Flowery Branch, Georgia, that takes a whole family approach to restoring and renewing relationships for children and families. Eagle Ranch was founded in 1985 and has served thousands of children and their families. 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Marketing Project Manager serves as the operational backbone of the Marketing team at Eagle Ranch, translating strategy into execution and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all initiatives. As the right hand to the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy, this role turns vision into clear plans, manages workflows, and drives campaigns from concept to completion—ensuring all efforts align with brand standards and overall strategy.

This role requires strong operational discipline, strategic awareness, and a proactive mindset. The Marketing Project Manager understands the “why” behind each initiative while stewarding the systems, processes, and execution that bring clarity, consistency, and impact to the Ranch’s message. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Operations & Project Management

  • Translate strategic direction into structured, actionable project plans (e.g., in Asana)
  • Build, manage, and maintain project boards, timelines, and task assignments
  • Track progress, ensuring clarity on deadlines, ownership, and deliverables
  • Monitor project health and proactively resolve risks, delays, or bottlenecks
  • Capture meeting notes, action items, and requirements from marketing and cross-functional meetings
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute deliverables

Campaign Execution & Content Implementation

  • Execute core components of marketing campaigns across channels
  • Write and edit content (email, web, events, donor communications
  • Coordinate production timelines and asset development
  • Conduct interviews and help develop mission-driven storytelling content
  • Support advertising and campaign rollout in collaboration with creative team members
  • Assist in photoshoots and content gathering to support campaigns

Quality Control & Brand Integrity

  • Lead proofing and quality control processes for all marketing materials
  • Ensure alignment with brand voice, messaging, and standards
  • Coordinate and manage volunteer proofreaders
  • Review deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before release

Strategic Alignment & Operational Improvement

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing to understand and operationalize priorities
  • Ensure all projects align with broader organizational goals
  • Contribute insights and implementation considerations during campaign planning
  • Design, optimize, and standardize workflows, identifying gaps and implementing repeatable processes to improve efficiency across campaigns and events
  • Track marketing expenses and support budget management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing project management, or     creative operations.
  • Experience with project management and marketing tools, including:
    • Asana (or comparable system)
    • CMS platforms such as Webflow and Wordpress
    • Email marketing platforms (Blackbaud NXT, Feathr)
    • Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience preferred.
